Our Story
Dyslexia Center of Tulsa, established in 2011, was founded with a deep commitment to assisting children who face challenges associated with the characteristics of dyslexia. Our approach revolves around applying occupational therapy expertise to address the specific needs of individuals struggling with the characteristics of dyslexia, enabling them to overcome reading difficulties and learning differences. Over the years, our services have expanded to encompass support for printing and cursive writing instruction, dysgraphia, ocular motor dysfunction, and auditory processing issues.
At Dyslexia Center of Tulsa, we are dedicated to providing personalized services with the following objectives:

- Enhancing Writing Skills: We focus on developing writing skills, including speed, legibility, and written expression, in print and cursive writing.
- Boosting Self-Confidence: We aim to enhance an individual’s self-confidence as a learner, fostering positive self-esteem and capability.
- Family Support: We understand the frustrations that learning and reading struggles can create within families, and we strive to ease this burden through our services.
- Empowering Advocacy: We actively support parents and children in advocating for their unique needs.
